We’ve had so much snow lately. It’s a pain to have to get out into it, but it’s a photographer’s dream.

A few shots out in our back yard earlier this month. I’m getting new portable lights for my birthday, so there’ll be more of this to come!
We had a bit of Harry Potter fun in the studio this week.
A little bit of photoshop magic and that grey backdrop turns into (sort of) blue skies.
Stop motion in the studio must be done with strobes rather than shutter speed. It’s a bit of a balance act – not to mention the space issue!
Hard directional light is tough to manage, but it can create a classic Hollywood portrait style.
One of the wonderful things about living all around the world is all the great friends you get to make. We hadn’t seen these friends of ours in literally 10 years! What a great reunion. 
Matthew helped me out with a theme I’ve been wanting to work on. He’s an excellent actor.
This little skater dude got a board for his birthday and an owie on his face to go with it!
